Preparatory Nursing Program / Advance Placement
Successful completion of the entrance and/or placement testing are prerequisites for admission to the Practical Nursing Program. Applicants who are determined to have deficiencies in Basic Mathematics and Basic Medical Terminology (due to failure in entrance and/or placement testing) may be required to take remedial classess (offered as part of HHCI Practical Nursing Preparatory Program) prior to admission to the Practical Nursing Program. Advance Placement:
Applicants with previously completed college courses may apply for credit transfer of those courses as applicable. Only non-nursing courses (i.e., Anatomy & Physiology, Introduction to Psychology, Microbiology, Human Lifespan, and Nutrition) are transferable into HHCI PN Program.
